Naturel Premium Spray Oils

Naturel has launched three premium spray oils - Grapeseed Oil, Avocado Olive Oil, and Extra Virgin Olive Oil - to make low-fat cooking easier.

The bottles come with a unique nozzle that dispenses the oils three ways:

- To Drip, apply a gentle pressure on the tip of the spray head. Recommended for adding extra flavour to soups.

- To Stream, apply a harder pressure on the tip of the spray head, and hold as required. Recommended for frying, and to rub in salt and herbs onto meat.

- To Spray, press down on the centre of the spray head for a second. This is the lightest application, and is good for salads, a light coat on buns and pastries before baking, barbecued meats, or for coating a skillet/pan.

Because there are three different strengths, it might take awhile to get used to how it works (and make sure you are pointing the nozzle the right direction). But I like the versatility in dispensing three ways. It's more than just a spray.

The other good thing is: Grapeseed Oil, Avocado Olive Oil, and Extra Virgin Olive Oil are high in unsaturated fats, low in saturated fats, cholesterol-free, and trans fat-free. All three are made in Spain using single-source Spanish ingredients.

They each have different flavours. Grapeseed is the most nutty while Avocado is the most neutral. The Olive Oil is slightly smooth and sweet with hints of spiciness.

Each spray is only 9kCal but I love testing the spray (so fun), so I end up sometimes with a more oily pan or bowl. Must control myself!

Thanks to Lam Soon Singapore for sending the samples.
