Shake Shack to Open Fourth Outlet in Singapore at Suntec City

Shake Shack is, unbelievably in this battered economy, opening its fourth outlet in Singapore, not too long after the third one appeared at Liat Towers. The hoardings for the latest outlet have gone up today at Suntec Centre (#01-357). The store is slated to open in fall (usually Sep-Nov) 2020.

Swing by the Shack, located at the mall’s West Wing, to check out the vibrant mural by local artist Ripple Root inspired by Suntec and its surroundings. The duo Liquan Liew and Estella Ng have painted Bougainvillea blossoming in the city centre, triangular motifs with a nod to the Suntec architecture, splashes of water representing the iconic Fountain of Wealth and vignettes capturing the area’s hustle-bustle.

Shake Shack Smokeshack
Now, I love their burgers, so more Shake Shack is good news to me. I still remember the first burger we tried at Jewel, Changi Airport last October. The Smokeshack was so juicy and bursting with flavour.

We recently had a haul from the Liat Towers branch. Two Smokeshacks, one Shroom burger, one Chick’n Shack and a hot dog, plus cheese fries and a concrete with brownies and chocolate chunks.

The Smokeshack here is different - it's got chopped cherry pepper that's so tart, it makes you wince more than the McDonald's pickle. They need to read Lennardy's post from way back on acidity.

I wonder what specialty or surprise they will offer at Suntec...

Well, as much as I am happy for more outlets, I do hope this expansion doesn't mean they'll be overstretched. Already the Liat Tower branch wasn't crowded on a weekend. Lots of people are still working from home and may continue to do some sort of hybrid office-home schedule. Tourists are limited, and may be for a couple of years. Covid-19 has changed the landscape so much. Wonder if Shake Shack will consider major heartland spots outside the CBD which is a ghost town for now.

Raffles Hotel Singapore: La Dame de Pic Summer Menu

French cuisine tends to be heavy on creams and strong-tasting sauces. However, Chef Anne Sophie Pic, a third generation chef-owner of a three-star Michelin restaurant in France, has lent her wonderful touch to show that French fine-dining can also be delicate with finely balanced flavours.

Here she is with a special greeting for guests of La Dame de Pic in Singapore.

NutsAndSnacks.Com - Wholesale Snacks Delivery & Promo Code

OK, I'll confess. I'm always looking for snacks and not necessarily the most healthy kind. However, I am trying to focus more on healthful choices. With the Covid-19 situation, I started looking for wholesalers who would do delivery. And in the midst of it, NutsAndSnacks.com came along and offered me samples to try. Talk about serendipity. Psst...they are giving you a promo code at the end of the post too!
