Chococar! My kind of race car

My, I forgot to put up this photo, taken a month ago outside Carousel, Royal Plaza on Scotts. A racing car made completely out of chocolate!
It took four artists over 44 days to design this, and 8 chefs working 7 days and nights to craft this. The car is almost lifesize at 4.7m long and 2m wide. They used 90kg of chocolate - white, dark and milk chocolate (even the wheels and hubs are coated with edible black and silver powder).
Cost? $25,000 (currency not stipulated, I presume it's S$).
The F1 racing fever is reaching some heights in Singapore now, with lots of racing simulations and model cars on displays. But I still don't have a good feeling about it - like some accident is going to happen - cos our roads are simply not designed for races. Perhaps I'm not the only one with the jitters. It seems the seats aren't sold out yet. Well, they haven't even finished building the seating areas, so close to the event. At any rate, I'm avoiding town for the duration of the event!
