Giveaway: Singapore Map Poster by Modern Map Art

This is freaking awesome. This map poster has made me see Singapore in a different light.

Modern Map Art has posters of various cities and countries in map outlines. If your office has branches in Beijing, Boston and Bangladesh, you could go for city map posters as office decor. They also have phone cases, tees, and pillows.

But back to this Singapore map.

One family member said, "No way there's a giant half swastika embedded in the southwest rear!"

Why was the map drawn like this? Surely this is inaccurate. Off to Google we went, determined to prove things right. But look...

Singapore on Google Maps
The poster is accurate! The "swastika"-like structure is the Pasir Panjang wharf which I never realised was so huge. In terms of land mass, it's comparable to the Sentosa main island. I hope the Charlottesville neo-Nazis never see this!

I'll also let you see if you can spot something else. Not sure if it's the seventh month effect but I'll never see the reservoirs in the same way again.

So this map is black and white, measures 18" x 24" and costs US$69.99. It's delivered safely in a mailing tube. I'm doing a giveaway. All you have to do is comment below or on my Facebook post any of your thoughts.

Thanks to Modern Map Art for sending the map sample and affiliate link.
