Hair for Hope: Give Love for Children's Cancer Foundation

Ryan Sai. He's pledged to raise S$10,000 as a shavee at Hair for Hope. It's to help drum up awareness and raise funds for Children's Cancer Foundation.

Thing is - they won't find much to shave. He is already bald from chemotherapy. Ryan is 27 and was diagnosed with leukemia last year.

This brave guy is my friend The Hungry Cow's close buddy. You can read more about him and his inspiring cheer and courage to help others despite his own condition here.

This year, more than 1,000 people have signed up to be shavees during the event from 28-29 July 2012 at Vivocity.

You don't need to go bald to help. Chip in with a love gift and help Ryan get closer to his target. All of it goes to the Children's Cancer Foundation. Donations are tax-deductible.

I wanted to shave too, last year, but a Kojak mummy might prove too traumatic for my young kids. Maybe next time when they're a little bit older, we can all go and shave!
